
Bristol Airport’s appeal (against North Somerset Council’s decision to reject its expansion plans back in Feb 2020) eventually got under way before a panel of three Inspectors on 20 July at Weston-super-Mare Town Hall. The inquiry is scheduled to run for about 40 days between 20th July – 15th October, broken into three periods (20 July-13 Aug; 31 Aug-17 Sept; 28 Sept-15 Oct) with the decision and final report published some weeks later. The time of daily sitting will normally be 10.00-5.00 exception Monday (no sitting) and Friday (ends 3.30).
